Cocconato is a small ancient Roman town located on one of Monferrato’s many hills, overlooking Rio Meinia and Stura torrent’s valleys. Thanks to its location it benefits from a mild climate, that allows maritime plants to grow. From this town you can see two of the most famous italian mountains: the Monviso and the Monte Rosa.
In 2019 Cocconato was recognized amongst the most beautiful italian towns, and has been awarded with the Touring Club flag for the years 2018-2020 for its hospitality.
