Description
The construction of the Church of San Giovanni Battista started after the siege of Verrua Savoia in 1704, when the old church was destroyed by French mines. The works began in 1749, but the opposition of the Count of Verrua Savoia slowed down the works. It was consecrated after ten years of work, in 1759.
